Crossref Sponsoring Member since 2015 · ORCID Institutional Member

Your journal's metadata breaks quietly, one deposit at a time.

Enter your ISSN. See a Crossref health score down to the individual DOI, then let us watch it. When a new deposit drops your score, we email you the exact DOI that caused it.

Enter a DOI prefix like 10.5294 or an ISSN like 0103-6513.

No account required — results are public and cached for 24 hours.
Continuous monitoring

Metadata doesn't stay fixed.

Every new issue you deposit can arrive with gaps: a missing abstract, a coauthor without an ORCID iD, references left off. Watch your journal and we catch it for you.

  • We re-audit your journal automatically, every month.
  • You hear from us only when a new Crossref deposit affects your score, naming the exact DOI and field.
  • No monthly digest, no noise. One-click unsubscribe.

Why not just a coverage score?

A coverage score gives you one percentage for an entire prefix. It can't tell an editor which article lost its references last month. We work at the ISSN and DOI level, and we keep watching after the first report, so a field you fixed doesn't quietly slip back.

How it works

  1. Enter your prefix or ISSN

Type your Crossref prefix (e.g. 10.5294) or ISSN (e.g. 0103-6513). No login required.

  2. We analyze your metadata

We securely fetch your Crossref records and cross-reference them with citation data to compute a Health Score.

  3. Get your action plan

See a prioritized list of DOIs to fix first, so you focus on what moves the needle, not every single error.
