This tool was born from the Crossref Sprint São Paulo 2026. Publishers and developers came together to improve metadata quality across the scholarly ecosystem. We built the Metadata Refiner to turn overwhelming error lists into clear, actionable roadmaps — so journal editors can stop guessing and start fixing the DOIs that matter most for discovery and impact.
